The Terramar Hotel is housed in a distinctive 8-storey building, with a white façade, covered in tiered balconies, that evokes the prow of a ship. The property is set amidst 20,000 square metres of scenic gardens. The interior is designed in a classical, if somewhat kitsch, Mediterranean style, with clashing marble patterns and pale-blue mosaic columns in the lobby. The 209 spacious guestrooms are comfortably appointed, with carpeted floors, cream-toned fabrics and leather armchairs. All have balconies and are clean and well maintained, as are the en suite bathrooms with tub/shower combos. In the Yuca Restaurant guests can enjoy splendid views to the sea and savour regional and international cuisine. There’s also a 1970s-style bar with a conservatory section. The teardrop-shaped pool, with tiered paved terrace, is adjacent to the road and surrounded by plenty of sun loungers.
