Very Good value for money.
Surprisingly good Restaurant,
14 Euro Menu was excellent
with a touch of high-class service.
Panoramic views from the rooftop bar.
Must be one of the best locations in Sitges for the bars/restaurants/beach.
Flat screen TV receives BBC news/weather.
No phone/alarm/radio in rooms
but not necessary in this age
of mobile phones.
Top Tip
Pay-Pay bar must have the best people-watching location but is now rather expensive costing almost twice as some others for beer. A must for a one-drink visit even if the budget is tight.
Vikingos restaurant is reasonably priced Italian with
a good chattery/clattery atmosphere.
The Santa Maria is good and lively but the food/service is not as excellent as it was 6/7 years ago.
Don't be frightened of trying the cheaper bars in the less popular side streets.
The Cemetery (yes the burial place) is a must-see.

Very extensive, varied buffet breakfast from 8am till 11am. Possibility of using beach towels belonging to hotel which we thought was a great idea but we only found out about that once we had arrived and therefore we had packed our own towels.Lovely roof terrace with bar and seating area, ideal for looking out over the sea or for people watching.Free use of internet on the hotel computers situated in the lobby.

There is a restaurant attached to the hotel which is called "El rincon de Pepe". Here there is a "Menu diario" or daily menu which represents excellent value for money at 14 Euros per person including water and bread. Eguzki tapas bar at the top of San Pablo street is well worth several visits for its varied and plentiful supplies of tapas and very cheap but tasty local wines, all served up amidst a bustling atmosphere. Lots of locals go there which is usually a good sign! The Cafe Roy on the main street is excellent for people watching as well as good coffee, if you can manage to get a table on the terrace. Sitges is a lovely place to take a stroll along the promenade from the parish church to the Hotel Terramar right at the other end of the town. The old town has interesting museums but there is an entry charge. In the summer months various musical activities such as opera, jazz etc take place in the museums in the evenings. Water sports such as sailing and wind surfing are also available. There is also the possibility of playing beach volleyball or beach football.

Note we did not use the hotel evening dining as we went elsewhere. Menu looked good however 3 course set dinner 14EURO/person. Likewise we did not use roof bar. Buffet breakfast very good and (at least this week) opens till 1100.
Both reception staff we met spoke good english but also understood our spanish.
Our room was very spacious and very good and the parts of hotel we saw/used recently renovated/decorated.
There is a swimming pool on site (not tried as this was February)

For tapas and atmosphere, excellent value: Eguzki (Lizarran chain) Calle San Pablo (top).
If a family with small children try SuperPollo - good standard (chicken) fare very affordable.
Local cafe bar -- Cafe Roy is good for people watching as well as a wide range of drinks and snacks. Also for Basque atmosphere, try Izarra on Calle Major (very small).
If you want English people and language (predominantly) and English sport , the Bull on Calle san Pedro is very good.

When booking make sure you get a room with a balcony. Pay extra as the standard rooms are very noisy by the lift and stair-well.
