Featuring steeply sloping sides adorned with tiered balconies, the Meliá Sitges Hotel is an imposing contemporary property, situated opposite the Aiguadolç Marina. It was inaugurated in 1992, when it housed spectators and participants for the Barcelona Olympics. The cavernous, atrium-style marble lobby is enhanced by trailing foliage and what feels like the largest window in Spain, overlooking a view of the mountains. The 307 medium-sized guestrooms feature sea views and every one comes with a large furnished veranda for sunbathing, while each bathroom has a tub/shower combo. In the Fitness Center guests can take advantage of the body building equipment, cardio-vascular equipment, heated swimming pool, hydromassage, sauna, steam baths, solarium and massages (with supplementary charge).
